課堂結語 妙用幾例
寫作文講究“鳳頭”、“豬肚”、“豹尾”,即精巧、吸引人的開頭,豐富的內容,點題有力的結尾。我覺得英語課堂的設置與過程安排也與此類似。如:英語課堂要求有激發(fā)學生興趣的導課,有大的訓練容量,同時也需要好的結束語來點化、深化課文內容,引起學生的思考,使之深化對課文的認識。
如:教授SB1A“Car Factory”一課時,我用這樣的結語:
T:Do you want to have a car of your own?
S:Yes!
T:But is it easy for us to have a car of our own?
S:No!
T:Why?
S:We haven't enough money.
T:Yes,we're poor,and our country is not rich either.But in America,most of people have their own cars,because America is a developed country.It has advanced economy and technology.What can we do?Should we make our country as rich and strong as America?
S:Yes,we should.Now we should work hard so that we can do something for our country when we grow up.
這樣的對話結語,不僅加強了對學生的愛國教育,而且激發(fā)了他們的學習興趣和動力。
SB1B對話課“Women work”講到關于男女平等時,我這樣做總結:“It is not fair in China for men and women to do the same job without equal pay.Men and women are equal.They walk under the same blue sky together,so they should get equal rights in payment and employment.We———all of you and I should fight for women's rights.”
這段結語對學生進行了“男女平等”的思想教育,還引導學生要為此付出自己的努力。
講SB2A“Saving the earth”一單元時,我這樣結束:
T:Have you ever been in a desert?How do you feel if you are in it?
S:I'll be frightened.
T:How do you feel when you are at home?
S:I feel comfortable.
T:Oceans and rivers are the home of fish,forests and mountains are the home of birds and animals.Can you imagine how they'll feel if their homes are destroyed?They'll have nothing to eat,have no place to live.They can do nothing but die.And all these things have been done by man.At that time,only man lives on the earth.Can he still survive without the things around?
S:No,he'll not.If so,it will be like living on the desert.
T:The earth is the home of all of us — human being,animals,birds,fish and other living things.Saving the earth is saving our home.
簡短的對話足以在學生心靈上產生強烈的震撼作用,對環(huán)保引起高度重視。
如果認真推敲,我們英語課本的每一單元都隱含著進行思想教育的素材。這就要求我們教師準確把握切入點,并對課文主題進行獨到的挖掘、提煉。這樣,學生在課堂上既學到了英語語言知識,同時思想上又得到潛移默化的教育,陶冶了情操,凈化了靈魂。
