保護(hù)地球 Protecting the Earth

　　My childhood teacher told me that we should protect the earth. However, nowadays, people are killing animals and cutting down trees. These behaviors have caused damage to the environment. We live on the earth, we need to create a better environment because to protect the earth is to protect ourselves.

　　我小時(shí)候的老師告訴我，我們應(yīng)該保護(hù)地球。然而如今，人們卻在扼殺動(dòng)物、砍伐樹木，這些行為對(duì)環(huán)境造成了破壞。我們生活在地球上，需要?jiǎng)?chuàng)造一個(gè)更好的環(huán)境，因?yàn)楸Ｗo(hù)地球就是保護(hù)我們自己。

　　With the rapid development of the economy, many factories discharge pollutants into the environment. Many years ago, we could see birds flying in the sky and fish in the clear river. Now, however, there are fewer and fewer birds and the river is dirty. We urgently need to protect the environment.

　　隨著經(jīng)濟(jì)的迅速發(fā)展，許多工廠向環(huán)境排放污染物。很多年前，我們能夠看到天空中飛翔的鳥兒，清澈的河水里的魚兒。然而現(xiàn)在，鳥兒越來越少，河水也變得臟了。我們迫切需要保護(hù)環(huán)境。

　　When we look up at the sky and no longer see as many birds as we did many years ago, we realize that there are fewer and fewer of them, and it is difficult for us to find traces of them. The environment has been polluted and the earth has been damaged. We must protect the earth, forbid dumping rubbish and stop cutting down trees.

　　當(dāng)我們抬頭仰望天空，不再像很多年前那樣看到很多鳥兒時(shí)，我們意識(shí)到它們已經(jīng)越來越少了，我們很難找到它們的蹤跡。環(huán)境已經(jīng)被污染，地球也受到了破壞。我們有責(zé)任保護(hù)地球，禁止倒垃圾，停止砍伐樹木。
